Nordlys Frax 1940

(Laser)

The Nordlys Frax 1940 is a fractional laser used to resurface and rejuvenate the skin. The infrared laser energy emitted by Frax 1940 targets the water in your surface skin cells, vaporizing them. Fractional laser treatments are non-ablative. That is because the laser beam is fractionated, or broken up into tiny fractions, which target only 25% to 40% of the skin, hastening your recovery time.

The Frax laser is a non-ablative resurfacing laser that slows down and reverses the visible signs of aging, leaving the skin smoother, and more refreshed. The Nordlys Frax laser targets water in the skin cells, and creates fractionated, controlled thermal damage to the skin. As the body responds to the controlled damage, collagen is stimulated, and the skin revitalizes itself. This powerful device will illuminate your skin and rejuvenate sun-damaged skin.

It is recommended to have 2 sessions (one month apart) to achieve the maximum results. However, if the skin problems are severe, a third session can be done 2 months after the second session. In order to maintain the results, one treatment session is advised every 6 months. Results are usually seen 2-3 weeks after the first session.
